Well, I had fully intended to write an insightful blog this week about how I feel about work and my health and how that relates to my being uncomfortable. But, all those plans went out the window with a very crazy weekend.
Saturday, I got overheated working outside and so I lost a few hours just trying to feel better with rest and coolness. Then, I decided to try a new recipe for dinner, homemade black bean burgers. They weren’t an epic fail but I will definitely not be making them again. The store-bought ones that I have had in the past were better and a heck of a lot easier.
Then, Saturday night, a set of people in a very close neighboring building decided to throw a party, until after 1 in the morning. I already wasn’t feeling great, and their noise kept me awake. Since I have a dog that is on a schedule, sleeping in is not an option and I ended up with just 6 hours of not great sleep. For someone who is used to getting 8 hours at least on the weekends, it really messed me up. I basically spend Sunday doing chores in a zombie state.
Thankfully, I was able to get a good night sleep last night and I am feeling a little more awake. But, I don’t have the brain power to get out an insightful or even helpful blog today.
